Planned Maintenance Surveyor

Our client, based in the Midlands, is currently recruiting for a Planned Maintenance Surveyor on a three month temporary contract.

The position is due to start W/C 22nd September, paying a daily rate of £300 a day via an umbrella company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of planned works, ideally with a background within social housing or a local authority.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Managing programmes of work & individual projects from inception, through the works process, all the way to completion
• Investigating & recommending material specifications and tenders for procurement in line with all association regulation and internal procedures
• Undertaking 5-6 inspections per day
• Covering major works inspections, including things like kitchens, bathrooms, windows, doors and garages

Expertise required:

• Experience of planned works, including kitchens, bathrooms etc.
• Ideally be HNC/RICS qualified
• Have a background within social housing or a local authority

Working hours:

• 37 hours per week
• Monday – Friday
