Planning and Materials Project Manager – 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
We have a new opportunity to join The Compleat Food Group in the Supply Chain Team! You will be responsible for leading and coordinating planning and materials initiatives at site level to ensure the efficient flow of materials, accurate production planning, and successful delivery of key operational projects.

Location: Milton Keynes, MK6 4AH
Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 – 17:00, Friday, 8:30 – 16:00
Contract: 6 Month FTC
Your Duties Will Include:
- Developing short-term and long-term production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders, highlighting promotional periods and key capacity constraints
- Optimising make frequencies and changeover reductions whilst adhering to technical and hygiene constraints
- Coordinating with manufacturing teams to ensure schedule adherence and operational costs are predictable and continually improved through daily cadence.
- Plan and manage raw materials, components, and packaging materials required for production.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) outputs.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
- Strong Supply Chain experience within the food industry.
- Waste and materials knowledge within food manufacturing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- System building and experience
- Excel formatting and database design
- Ability to work both quickly and with strong attention to detail
