The Platform Manager delivers the cloud platform strategy, ensuring secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions. This role leads platform design, automation, and governance, manages the engineering team, and drives innovation through public cloud services to meet evolving HL needs.
What you will be doing
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of the cloud platform, ensuring it meets performance, scalability, reliability, and compliance standards.
- Manage and develop the cloud platform engineering team, fostering cross-functional collaboration and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the platform aligns with customers' business requirements, technical constraints, and evolving needs through proactive engagement with stakeholders.
About you
- Extensive experience in cloud platform engineering and operations, with deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures and best practices.
- Strong technical expertise in public cloud services and ability to translate business requirements into robust, scalable cloud solutions.
- Proven ability to build, lead, and motivate high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical skills to navigate complex technical and organizational challenges.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with customer-facing teams and align platform capabilities with business needs.
- Commitment to adopting innovative cloud technologies and modern delivery approaches.

The interview process for this role three stages, including a task/ presentation element.
Working Schedule
This role is based in London - Paddington Office. This role is permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We have returned to the office, however for this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern.
