Job type: Permanent contract
Salary: £16.24 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 30:00 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 8:30/20:00
This will be working between 2 shift patterns which will be expalined at Interview.

You’ll be required to work one in two Sundays at Kingston Delivery Officeworking between 10:00 and 16:00.

This role is physically demanding and fast-paced:
- Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)
- Driving a Royal Mail van daily
- Working in all weather conditions
- Delivering letters and high volumes of parcels
We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:
- A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
- Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment
- Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
- Reliable and self-motivated
- Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
- Customer-focused, with pride in delivering great service
- Comfortable working outdoors and independently
