Supported by a team of consultant colleagues with a dedicated multi-disciplinary team, you will contribute to the provision of comprehensive management of melanoma, cutaneous lymphoma, GvHD and non-melanoma skin cancers atGuy's and St. Thomas' Hospital Trust as follows:
Duties and responsibilities:
Clinical:
The postholder will, together with colleagues, contribute to the provision of dermatology and cutaneous Lymphoma services to the Guys and St. Thomas Hospital Trust as follows:
To be an active member of the multidisciplinary skin tumour team delivering care to patients with skin cancer as part of the extensive tertiary referral service
Outpatient clinics (melanoma, lymphoma, Graft versus host disease, skin cancer screening and general dermatology)
To contribute to the required medical support for patient requiring complex therapies (including photopheresis and chemotherapy)
To provide continuing clinical responsibility for the patients in your charge
Teaching and Training:
The postholder is expected to contribute to the extensive teaching and training programme at St Johns.
Specifically, this post encompasses
Responsibility shared with colleagues for the educational supervision of trainees attending the department.
