Pre-Construction Engineering Manager

At Octavius, you’ll lead early engineering and design development across our highways portfolio — driving safe, buildable, value-focused solutions from concept through to delivery readiness.
This is a pivotal role where you’ll:
✔️ Lead and coordinate pre-construction engineering & design
✔️ Shape CDM-compliant, technically robust solutions
✔️ Manage design reviews, TQs/RFIs and assurance processes
✔️ Align programme, cost and technical requirements
✔️ Support bids with methodology, estimating and quality input
✔️ Champion sustainability, BIM, Lean and continuous improvement
About you:
You’re confident, collaborative and commercially aware. A natural problem-solver who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and brings strong technical judgement to early-stage decision making.
You’ll bring:
