Preclinical Research Assistant, Perceptive Discovery

Join our growing CNS Discovery Laboratories where cutting-edge preclinical research is translated into first-in-human studies.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build hands-on experience in translational neuroscience, working within a highly collaborative, multidisciplinary team supporting the early preclinical development of novel therapeutics and imaging agents.
🔬 What you’ll do
- Support the execution of in vitro, in vivo and ex vivo studies
- Evaluate novel and established PET radiotracers and drug candidates
- Apply techniques including radioligand binding, autoradiography, histology and molecular assays
- Contribute to data analysis, interpretation and reporting
- Maintain accurate experimental records and support study coordination
- Collaborate closely with chemistry, imaging and analysis teams
🧠 What you’ll bring
- MSc/MRes in Pharmacology, Neuroscience or related field (or BSc with relevant lab experience)
- Strong hands-on laboratory experience (essential)
- Exposure to pharmacology, radiopharmaceuticals or tissue-based techniques (desirable)
- A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for learning
