We are looking to recruit a Premises Manager for 12.5hrs per week, pro-rata salary as advertised with this post. This is a new post replacing the previous post of Caretaker.
The working pattern will be part time: 5 days per week, working 2.5hrs each day from 3:45pm to 6pm to lock up at the end of the school day (but also hours would be occasionally subject to change as working arrangements would be dependent on the need of the school such as adverse weather conditions necessitating the gritting of snow and ice, meeting with contractors when necessary etc).
There will be a small element of cleaning duties included in this role also.
We are looking for someone who:
Has good communication skills with children and adults.
Is flexible, patient and enjoys working in a school environment.
Has plumbing and handy-person skills such as general building maintenance and repairs.
Is committed to carrying out necessary training for the role, as initially at the start of their deployment, there will be a significant amount of training.
