Principal Electrical Engineer (SPEL Specialist)


Location: Office-based (4 days per week) with 1 day remote

Project: Major greenfield onshore LNG project

Contract Type: 6 months, Outside IR35

Start Date: ASAP

Work Pattern: 4 days office / 1 day remote


Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Principal Electrical Engineer / SPEL Specialist to support a significant greenfield onshore LNG project. The focus of this role is the setup and configuration of SPEL, the development of implementation procedures, and the creation of templates and formats for key electrical deliverables generated from SPEL.


Key Responsibilities:

- Set up and configure SPEL for the project

- Develop SPEL procedures and workflows

- Produce output templates and formats for deliverables such as:

- Load Lists

- Cable Schedules

- Interconnection Drawings

- Datasheets

- Support the wider electrical engineering team with SPEL-related deliverables and best practice


Requirements:

- Extensive experience with SPEL setup and implementation

- Proven experience producing electrical deliverables from SPEL

- Background in major onshore greenfield projects

- LNG project experience is highly advantageous
