We are embarking on an exciting transformation of our real-time market data applications onto a new advanced latency-optimised container platform and need innovative problem solvers to help us deliver this capability.
This is a technical dev-ops engineering position for
someone who can dive deep, build on-premise, hybrid or cloud-optimized IT infrastructure services that will support our real time high-performance container-based workloads. The role involves elements of design, build engineering, complex migration planning and consultation to deliver business related outcomes in an agile manner.
As well as a proven technical background, the ideal candidate must be able to participate effectively in multi-functional meetings, clearly articulate sophisticated technical and capabilities, translate business requirements into technical requirements, and ultimately, into outcomes that are fit for purpose and use. Collaboration is key, as you will be helping LSEG to deliver all the platform infrastructure build, configuration, tooling, observability, and lifecycle management activities as code.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Ownership of Kubernetes and Hybrid Cloud design, build engineering and development activities required to deliver global cloud-native container platform related business outputs.
- Deployment and test planning / execution for container platform capabilities and features
- Providing design, engineering and code reviews that show an attention to detail and becoming an advocate for quality within the team.
- Real-life (and not theoretical) experience and a real willingness to learn or rapidly grow their skills and capabilities.
- Ability to present to senior management level in fluent business-level English.
