About The Role
We are hiring for Design Leaders who are able to come in and sit across the whole function, you will own department wide initiatives, working directly with the VP of Design and Pillar leads. You’ll bring fresh thinking, a strong product sense, and a passion for human-centered design to uncover unmet needs and transform early-stage concepts into compelling, testable experiences. You'll thrive in ambiguity, using your creativity and strategic mindset to design what doesn’t yet exist.

- Identifying new product opportunities by deeply understanding user problems, industry trends, and Cleo’s unique strengths
- Leading early-stage ideation, sketch bold product directions, and prototype innovative concepts
- Designing and run lean research and testing processes to quickly validate or de-risk assumptions
- Bringing your squad together to form and communicate a vision
- Executing designs in polished UI in close collaboration with developers
- Collaborating with cross functional stakeholders to shape product direction
- Craft compelling visual and verbal narratives to communicate the value and potential of new product ideas
- You should ideally have several years of relevant experience and passion for growth focused work at a senior level, leading and influencing teams
- Experience in consumer-facing fintech or personal finance products at both a hands on and a leadership level
- You can share mobile app focused design work that shows a proven track record of high quality execution in high-growth, fast-paced and product-led businesses
- You are a strongly outcome-focused designer motivated by balancing business goals and user experience via small, quick, incremental experiment led impact
- You thrive on getting deep into the data and the details to optimise existing features and journeys
- You are a proactive problem solver who can effectively bring structure to large or ambiguous problems to generate buy-in from stakeholders
- You are a strong cross-functional collaborator who can partner successfully with tech and marketing stakeholders to deliver bottom line impact on growth
