Location: London (UK) – hybrid (3 days from office)
Model: Fixed term employment/Contract inside IR 35
Duration: Until Dec 2026 with possible extensions to next year.
Immediate Start
Preference will be given to candidates who are currently residing in the UK and hold full right-to-work authorisation.
Role Overview
We are supporting a leading Wealth Management organization in a major transformation of its core platforms (back and front end) as well as a redesign of the integration and data architecture to align to the new platforms’ strategy.
We are looking for a very senior, client‑facing Solution Architect who can shape the target architecture, guide key technology decisions, and act as a trusted advisor to both business and IT stakeholders. This is a hands‑on architecture leadership role, with strong exposure to senior client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into architectural decisions end to end across core banking, digital channels, integrations, and data.
- Define and own the target and transition architectures for strategic initiatives, including sequencing, coexistence, and decommissioning decisions.
- Act as the architectural decision authority, approving, challenging, or rejecting solution choices that have long‑term enterprise impact.
- Shape platform, integration, and data strategies, ensuring scalability, regulatory compliance, and alignment across vendors and delivery teams.
- Advise senior stakeholders on risk and investment, making architectural implications clear and enabling informed executive decisions.
- Ensure alignment between business strategy, regulatory constraints, and technical implementation.

- Senior‑level experience in Solutions Architecture (with focus on Integration and Data)
- Strong background in API‑first, event‑driven, and distributed architectures.
- Extensive experience in Wealth / Private Banking domain and strong understanding of Wealth business processes, products, and operating models.
- Proven experience with large transformation programs.
- Relevant experience integrating digital channels with core banking platforms.
- Solid experience designing solutions on Microsoft technologies, including Azure and related integration and identity services.
- Credible, senior presence with C‑level and senior client stakeholders.
- Able to translate business needs into pragmatic architecture decisions.
- Strong communication skills; able to explain complex architectures clearly.
- Comfortable working in complex, multi‑vendor transformation programs.
- Pragmatic, outcome‑focused, and delivery‑aware.
- Experience working with distributed or international delivery teams.
