Principal Technical Architect (Azure) - SC Cleared

£700-£800 per day (inside IR35)
- Define and lead the strategic direction for Azure architecture, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and wider government digital strategy.
- Establish governance, patterns and standards for Azure solutions.
- Oversee the design of Azure solutions, ensuring they meet architectural standards and security requirements.
- Drive cloud innovation by evaluating new Azure services, automation approaches, and tools to enhance agility and reduce costs.
- Lead and develop tech architects and engineers.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in the design and delivery of complex solutions on Azure
- Proven in defining and implementing governance models for cloud adoption and optimisation.
- Understanding Azure security frameworks, compliance standards, and identity management models.
- Proven in providing technical direction, team leadership and guidance across multi-disciplinary IT Teams and architects.
- Proficient in architectural modelling tools such as Archi and frameworks such as ArchiMate or similar.
