Principle Infrastructure Engineer - Telephony
Providing effective support, maintenance and development to NWAS Telephone Systems (both in and out of office hours), NWAS needs to ensure that the right IT support is available in the Right Place, at the Right Time, Every Time.
As a part of the Trusts infrastructure team, you will be the senior authority on the NWAS telecommunications environment, responsible for the maintenance and management of both the existing telecommunications solutions and future developments.
You will be considered the Subject Matter Expert for the telephony system with ideally at least 10 years maintaining, supporting and deploying Contact Centres. The Trust will offer training on its specific systems. You will use your highly developed technical knowledge and experience to drive the continual improvement of telephony services to the trust. You will be the ultimate escalation for all Trust telephony issues, providing advice and guidance to both the ICT Senior Management Team and other Infrastructure engineers.

- Masters level qualification or equivalent relevant in depth experience in an Ambulance Service environment.

- Demonstrable comprehensive understanding of network infrastructure design, technology and standards.
Experience

- Significant experience in a senior or lead infrastructure engineering role within a complex, regulated environment (NHS or similar).
- Track record of defining infrastructure strategy and delivering enterprise-level solutions.
- Proven leadership in managing technical teams and influencing organisational direction
