Location: Radway Green - Full time Onsite

Salary: £43, 649 Basic + 25% shift allowance (shifts: 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am - Fridays will be shorter days)

What You'll Be Doing

Your be responsible for efficiently managing manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with SHE policies, legislation, and safe systems of work. Accountable for maintaining a safe working environment and delivering key manufacturing targets, including quality performance and cost reporting, to support operational targets and business objectives.

Leading and supporting the manufacturing team to drive performance, development, and operational excellence. Ensuring cost-effective area management while implementing continuous improvement, using lean tools and problem-solving techniques, and coordinating maintenance activities to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.

Core Duties

  • You will hold an engineering degree or time-served apprenticeship
  • You will have demonstratable experience leading a team, ideally in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Experience or qualifications in health and safety practices, including IOSH or NEBOSH certification, SAP system experience, and knowledge of COMAH regulations or hazardous environments is advantageous

The Manufacturing Team

As a Manufacturing Process Leader, you'll drive efficiency and continuous improvement in high-volume small arms ammunition production, leading a team of technicians and operators across rotating shifts. Collaborating closely with the Process Improvement Manager and reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll ensure production targets are met safely and with the highest quality standards.
