We require experienced process technicians to help optimise plant performance under the supervision of our shift leads. The role will be based at the pilot plant sites, with frequent access to our HQ in Mallusk.

Typically, there will be just 3 team members involved in pilot plant during daytime hours.

  • Monitor the plant daily with walkarounds and visual inspections
  • Develop an understanding of the plant behaviour, to anticipate troubles and ameliorate them
  • Be able to manage isolations as needed by permitting requirements
  • Overhaul the plant as required, for jobs such as filter changes, valve changes, draining, cleaning, flushing, and materials

loading.

Requirements

  • Willing to work shifts
  • Flexible to travel as required
  • Prior experience in chemical plants
  • Good mechanical competence with small hand-tools
  • Be occasionally flexible over work hours as plants do not always respect core work hours
  • Additional skills such as electrics, electronics, PLC programming, mechanical engineering, plumbing, laboratory skills

would be advantageous.

Benefits

  • Full time, permanent position (flexible hours, shift working)
  • Competitive salary and equity package
  • 35 days holiday (inc. Bank Holidays) plus your birthday off
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Private health insurance
  • Income Protection and life insurance
  • The opportunity to continue to develop both personally and professionally, in our rapidly growing company
  • A brilliant company culture that encourages initiative, collaboration, and positivity at work
  • Working on projects where your skills can quickly make an impact
  • Recognition for delivering a new, world-leading, technology
