Description

Our client is seeking a talented Procurement Manager to lead impactful procurement projects and support global category strategies. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of procurement across UK and global operations, working collaboratively with senior category management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end procurement projects, including sourcing strategies, tender processes, contract negotiations, and supplier onboarding.
  • Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans aligned with organisational goals.
  • Drive cost savings, value creation, and risk mitigation in key spend categories.
  • Conduct market analysis and lead supplier selection, ensuring commercial and compliance best practices.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance through KPIs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure procurement strategies support business needs.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in strategic procurement, category management, and leading complex projects.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and project management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of contract law, risk frameworks, and e-procurement systems (desirable).
  • Professional accreditation such as CIPS (desirable).

  • Experience:

    • Demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and delivering measurable outcomes.
    • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver procurement transformation initiatives (desirable).
