Role Overview
The Business Change Manager is responsible for ensuring that technology change initiatives are successfully adopted and embedded into business operations.
Working alongside Technology Delivery Managers and Product teams, the role focuses on translating technology delivery into business outcomes, ensuring changes are understood, adopted and deliver measurable value to the client’s regulatory objectives.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Proven experience delivering business change within technology programmes
• Strong understanding of change management frameworks (e.g. impact assessment, adoption, comms, training)
• Ability to operate in Agile / hybrid delivery environments
• Experience working alongside technology delivery, product and engineering teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in regulated environments or financial services (desirable)
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Business Readiness & Adoption
Lead business change activities to support technology delivery programmes and projects
Assess and manage business readiness, impact and adoption risks
Develop and execute change and adoption plans, ensuring smooth transition to live services
2. Change Planning & Delivery
Define and maintain business change plans aligned to delivery roadmaps
Ensure alignment between technology delivery timelines and business implementation
Coordinate activities such as training, communications and business engagement
3. Stakeholder Engagement
Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams and senior leaders
Act as the bridge between delivery teams and operational business areas
Facilitate workshops, decision-making forums and stakeholder engagement sessions
4. Impact Assessment
Analyse and document business process, organisational and operating model impacts
Identify risks to adoption, operational disruption and regulatory compliance
Define mitigation strategies to ensure safe and controlled implementation
5.Embedding Change
Ensure changes are effectively embedded into BAU operations
Support the transition from project delivery to service ownership
Monitor early life support and ensure stabilisation of services post go-live
6.Governance & Controls
Operate within client governance frameworks, ensuring change is controlled, auditable and compliant
Work with delivery teams to ensure alignment with risk, control and regulatory expectations
Provide clear reporting on change progress, impacts and adoption metrics

Successful adoption of technology solutions by business users
Minimal operational disruption at go-live
Clear evidence of business value and regulatory outcomes realised
