Our team is responsible for the product management in Europe of a suite of owned and operated global products developed by Samsung for use on our range of TVs, smartphones and tablets. We work very closely with our business development and ads colleagues, and the three teams together comprise ESBO, the European Services Business Office.

Our main products include Gaming Hub, the innovative cloud gaming native to Samsung Smart TVs, TV Plus that offers a wide variety of TV channels and video on demand, and Samsung News, a mobile-first news aggregation app pre-installed on all new Samsung devices.

The ambitions for Samsung News are bold; the product is already in market in the UK and North America, with exciting growth plans in 2026 and beyond.

Role And Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic Product Manager for a fixed-term 6-month. You will join a global news team within our Mobile eXperience (MX) division. Based in London, the role will focus on shaping our roadmap and delivering a world-class experience to UK users of Samsung News. Reporting directly to the Editor-in-Chief/Product Lead you will bring product innovations to life through flawless execution and collaboration.

Your work on this product will help our editors inform millions of users, and drive impact for one of the largest brands in the world.

• Update and deliver the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with regional market needs and business objectives.
• Manage end-to-end product planning for feature launches, including localisation strategies tailored to the UK market, to ensure seamless adoption and user satisfaction.
• Identify key blockers in the delivery pathway, be it technical, legal or organisational, and think creatively and practically to resolve them.
• Ensure all product initiatives comply with European regulations by collaborating closely with privacy and legal teams.
• Act as the voice of the product team in internal and external meetings, fostering cross-functional collaboration and alignment.

Support the data analytics team with developing weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reports, providing actionable insights to stakeholders for informed decision-making.

Build and maintain strong relationships with product teams across the US and Korea, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Ideate and identify growth opportunities for the service across the business, driving innovation and strategic initiatives.

Manage workflows for the Quality Control team in Poland, driving efficiency in testing processes and ensuring prompt issue resolution.

Work closely with programme management and Content Operations to ensure successful regional and global deliveries.

Liaise with the editorial team for UAT initiatives, collecting feedback and tackling issues as needed.

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:

• Proven experience in developing and delivering product roadmaps.
• Strong understanding of localisation strategies tailored to specific markets, particularly the UK.

Building strong cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration and innovation.

Providing actionable insights through data analysis to inform decision-making.

Driving efficiency in quality control processes and ensuring seamless user experiences.
