This hybrid role sits within our Product Management team and involves close collaboration with Product Development, Operations, Sales, and Marketing.

Role Overview
As defined by Scrum, the Product Owner is accountable for maximising the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Team.
You will be responsible for managing a set of features or project initiatives, owning the product roadmap, and ensuring successful delivery to users. The r2c platform includes a core product with optional modules, country-specific variants, bulk data interfaces, and real-time integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Define and clearly communicate the Product Goal
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritised, refined, and aligned with business objectives
- Ensure the backlog is transparent, visible, and understood by all stakeholders
- Maintain a deep understanding of all system features
- Stay informed on market trends and future product requirements
Delivery & Development
- Collaborate with Development and QA teams to support product delivery
Release Management
- Manage product releases, including documentation and version control
- Approve releases and ensure quality standards are met
- Communicate releases internally and externally before and at launch
Stakeholder Engagement
- Provide product expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure relevant teams are trained and informed on product features (existing and upcoming)
- Collaborate across teams including:

- Marketing

Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years’ experience as a Product Owner and/or Product Manager
- Experience in service, maintenance, tyres, or repair industries

- Full UK driving licence (national travel required)

r2c the market leader in digital asset management solutions for fleets of all shapes and sizes. Our innovative HGV product range is ever growing to meet industry demands. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Owner to join our team and help deliver innovative products to the market as outlined below.
As per the Scrum definition, you will be accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Team. You will be responsible for either a group of features or project assigned initiatives. You are responsible for delivering the product to the users and will manage the product roadmap for the above with key stakeholders. r2c is a product with a core offering that has a number of optional modules. This also includes a number of country variants, different user inputs, bulk data interfaces and real-time interfaces.
- Developing and explicitly communicate the Product Goal
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring it is prioritized, refined, and aligned with business objectives
- Ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood.
- To understand and document all system features
- Become and remain familiar in market for product – existing and future product requirements
- Initiate support and co-ordinate development of the product, including controlling change requests and liaising with both the QA and Development Teams
- Manage product releases (including release documentation) and version control
- To provide advice, knowledge and support in relation to product issues for internal and external stakeholders.
- To ensure that the necessary employees of r2c Online are familiar with the key functions of your product including all existing, new and upcoming features.
- To comply with agreed documentation standards
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
Key Responsibilities
- To be involved in the Platform Development lifecycle
- Document all changes within the platform
- Test software on UAT environment
- Liaise with QA and Development Teams
- Approve releases
- Communicate releases internally and to relevant users – both before and at the time of release
- Collaborate across Product Management team working various specialty areas.
- Work across the following teams: Software Development, QA, Product Support, Network Support, Project Management, Account Management, Business Development, Marketing, Senior Product Manager, Director of UK & International Product Management
- Manage external relationships such as Operators, Workshops, Repair Agents, Manufacturers, R&M’s and third party partners

Qualifications & Skills
- 2+ years of Product Owner and/or Product Management experience
- Service, Maintenance, Tyres and Repair industry experience is ideal / not required
- Knowledge of HGV industry is preferred but not required
- IT Literate (Microsoft product usage preferred, video conferencing and Product Management tools), creative mind around platform design.
- Strong organisational skills
- Team player
- Reliable
- Good communication skills
- Confident at presenting to a group of people
Special Requirements
- Full driving licence as national travel is required.

The job holder must be committed to any of r2c Limited’s related Health and Safety programmes. They must be aware of their contribution, including the requirement to monitor safety performance and compliance with the systems established to assist in maintaining high safety standards.
The job holder must be familiar with the safety legislation that is relevant to his/her post and comply with the necessary statutory requirements. These will include the Health & Safety at Work Act, Fire Precautions Act 1971 and associated regulations. The job holder must ensure that services provided in their area are in compliance with all relevant safety and legal requirements.
