About us:

Once Upon A Time has been established for over 20 years and have head offices in London as well as further offices in New York & Los Angeles. Our Music division work with major & independent record labels, artist management companies and artists directly to create vinyl, CDs and award winning boxsets.


About the role:

The Production Account Manager – Music will be responsible for overseeing the production process of all music formats from start to finish. Working closely with a variety of UK & US based music industry clients, as well as a global network of supply partners.


The position requires strong organisational and communication skills; great attention to detail; the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and an awareness of the ever-changing music marketplace. Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who takes initiative. They will ideally have both production and customer services experience within the music industry, as well as a strong passion for, and understanding of creative music packaging.


Key responsibilities:

  • Account management & development of music clients.
  • Overseeing the entire production process of vinyl, CDs, DVDs, MC cassettes & boxsets.
  • Processing client’s manufacturing orders from receipt of artwork & audio masters.
  • Liaising daily with both music industry clients & global supply partners to request and pass on all relevant information relating to manufacturing orders.
  • Setting production schedules & ensuring all orders are delivered on time.
  • Keeping an accurate & detailed log of all production activity for every client order processed.
  • Involved in the procurement of bespoke packaging.
  • Liaising with artworkers & designers to ensure all artwork is correctly received & processed.
  • Administration of ongoing client and supplier reports.
