Fixed Income Risk – Production Support Analyst


A leading global investment bank is seeking a Production Support Analyst to support mission‑critical Risk & P&L platforms for the Rates business. This is a front‑office, high‑visibility role working directly with traders and global technology teams to ensure stability and accuracy across risk, pricing, and trade‑processing systems.


You’ll support intraday and end‑of‑day Risk & P&L, troubleshoot trade flows, manage incidents, monitor key applications, and ensure systems are ready for market open. The role provides strong exposure to Fixed Income products, trading‑floor processes, market data, grid computing and front‑office technology.


Key Responsibilities

  • First‑line support for Rates traders (SOD and intraday Risk & P&L)
  • Troubleshoot trade lifecycle issues from capture to overnight processing
  • Work closely with global teams across EMEA, US and offshore hubs
  • Provide application support, monitoring and stability engineering
  • Manage Incident, Problem & Change Management processes
  • Perform pre‑market checks, SLA monitoring and regulatory/audit tasks
  • Maintain documentation, runbooks and support procedures

  • Skills & Experience

    Required:

    • Strong technical skills: UNIX/Linux, SQL, Shell/Perl scripting, grid computing
    • Product knowledge of Rates, understanding for eTrading, RFQ flows, Government Bonds, Agencies, Supras, Futures, Swaps, Inflation-linked products, US Treasuries and Bills
