Major Projects Advisory – Manager (PACE)

The Major Projects Advisory (MPA) practice sits in Customer, Operations, and Infrastructure (CO&I): one of seven super service lines across KPMG’s Advisory business. Operating from all over the UK we do work those matters, serving the Country with diligence and expertise.
“PACE” (Programme Advisory and Capital Excellence) is part of KPMG’s Major Projects Advisory team – a multi-disciplinary team of cross-sector experts in complex project and programme delivery. We transform our clients’ delivery capability and partner with them to deliver faster, cheaper, greener, and better. In-depth experience of applying Project, Programme, Portfolio management (P3M) methodology – and a passion for the discipline. A foundation of excellent academics and good career progression to date. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. An ability to build and maintain great relationships and a desire to network across our firm. Confident communication and presentation skills.
Skills we’d love to see / amazing extras:
- A good spread of experience using different software/applications (e.g. Teams, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Oracle P6, Slack, Clarizen)
- Relevant professional certification – e.g. APM ChPP/PMQ/PPQ; MoP; MSP; MoR
- Expertise or sectoral knowledge of infrastructure asset management
- Expertise in Project, Programme and Portfolio Controls
- Experience of digital transformation and technology in infrastructure programmes, including application of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Experience of capital planning or capital portfolio management
- Knowledge of process and value stream efficiency and optimisation
- Organisational readiness and effectiveness
