We are seeking a Programme Communications Manager to play a pivotal role in supporting a high-profile Rolls-Royce programme based in Derby. This position sits at the heart of the organisation, acting as a trusted partner to programme leadership and ensuring that the story of Rolls-Royce—its ambition, progress, and impact—is communicated with clarity, consistency, and purpose.
As a Programme Communications Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of integrated communication strategies that support major programmes across the business. You will work closely with senior leaders, programme teams, and external partners to ensure clear, consistent, and impactful messaging.
What you'll be doing
As a Programme Communications Manager You Will
Develop and execute comprehensive communication plans aligned to programme objectives
Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging content for diverse audiences
Partner with senior stakeholders to provide strategic communications advice
Manage internal and external communications, including briefings, presentations, and digital content
Support crisis and issue communications where required
Measure and evaluate communication effectiveness, driving continuous improvement.
Who we're looking for
You Will Have The Following
Proven experience in a communications role within a complex, fast-paced organisation
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Experience delivering communications for large programmes or projects
Ability to simplify technical or detailed information for broader audiences
A proactive, collaborative, and adaptable approach.
