INTERNAL ONLY TO NORTH CUMBRIA INTEGRATED CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST (NCIC) EMPLOYEES ONLY
Following a partnership with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, the NCIC Trust is set to upgrade its existing laboratory information system (LIMS) to WinPath Enterprise.
This partnership has secured investment to enhance laboratory processes and systems at NCIC, which will also enable an upgrade of the Order Comms (ICE) system.
The new LIMS system, known as ePath, will replace outdated technology, transforming specimen management to be more efficient for the Trust and the wider healthcare network, including primary care providers.
We are now recruiting for an ePath Programme Manager to work in partnership with Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and NCIC colleagues, to lead and manage this major initiative .
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pathology or Digital Programme or Project Manager looking for their next challenge. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and decision-making skills. Alongsidedemonstrable organisational and planning skills, with ability for effective time management and working to deadlines.

Main duties of the job
The role of the Programme Manager is to manage a major initiative or programme that encompasses a wide range of projects. The Programme Manager plans, supports, facilitates and monitors the progress of the whole programme across the Trust. They lead the programme alongside the Programme Clinical Lead from initiation to implementation of all the projects within the programme. They design a develop training packages for the team as required throughout the whole programme. The Programme Manager is key to maintaining a highly motivated team throughout the project whilst embedding quality and excellence within the entirety of the programme.
