Programme Manager – Trust Provider Collaborative

Do you enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative and system-focused environment? We are looking for a highly motivated Programme Manager to join the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust Strategy & Partnerships team, working on behalf of the Surrey and Sussex ICB Trust Provider Collaborative (TPC).

This role offers a unique opportunity to work across four NHS providers within Surrey Heartlands, leading complex transformation programmes--particularly within paediatrics--to improve patient outcomes, operational efficiency and clinical sustainability at scale.

We are seeking an individual with strong programme management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with senior leaders, clinicians and multidisciplinary teams. NHS experience and familiarity with large-scale transformation is essential.

Main duties of the job

Working closely with the TPC's Senior Programme Management Team, clinical and operational leaders, you will oversee programme governance, reporting, stakeholder engagement and delivery. You must be comfortable working autonomously across multiple organisations, navigating complexity, and driving progress at pace.

Qualifications

Essential

• Educated to Masters level or equivalent level of experience or training in a healthcare setting.
• Formal project/programme qualifications or equivalent experience in programme delivery.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development.

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

• Comprehensive programme management and PMO experience, including application of principles and techniques/tools.
• Familiarity with the NHS landscape, collaborative working and understanding of the national healthcare agenda.
• Experience of leading large-scale change within complex/collaborative environments
• Experience of stakeholder engagement and relationships management, building effective collaboration
• Experience of engaging diverse teams in service improvement and co-design.
• Experience of developing and delivering benefits realisation plans.

Desirable

• Understanding/experience of the NHS national agenda and context around collaboratives, ICBs, and Places
