Co-operation Ireland is hiring a part-time Programme Support Executive to provide administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth running of the PEACEworks Programme. This role is central to ensuring smooth programme operations across a high-impact, cross-border peacebuilding initiative.
PEACEworks is a major peacebuilding programme led by Co‑operation Ireland, and implemented on a cross‑community basis across Northern Ireland and the border counties. The programme works directly with the Ex‑Prisoner / Former Combatant (EPFC) community, supporting positive engagement with wider society and long‑term reconciliation. PEACEworks has been awarded €2.94 million under the PEACEPLUS Building Positive Relations investment area. PEACEPLUS is managed by the Special EU Programmes Body and is co‑funded by the European Union, the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the Government of Ireland, and the Northern Ireland Executive.
The Programme Support Executive will work closely with the Programme Manager and Programme Executive to provide essential administrative and logistical support

- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Business Administration or a similar accredited qualification.
- Qualification in Accounting, Business, or Finance.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience working with databases, monitoring systems, and finance systems.
- Understanding of, or interest in, reconciliation, promoting good relations, and cross-border peacebuilding within education or youth sectors.
- Willing and able to travel within Northern Ireland, Ireland, and occasionally further.
- Willing and able to work occasional extended hours if required in line with Co-operation Ireland’s Flexible Working Policy.
- Flexibility to travel and attend meetings or events outside the normal office base as required.
- Organised, efficient, and self-motivated, with sensitivity and openness toward peacebuilding and reconciliation work.
- Able to communicate and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and abilities.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
