The Project Delivery Manager is key to executing the delivery / commercialisation phase of the New Product Development (NPD) process.

We’re Tails.com, a dog food subscription company with a big difference. We create truly tailored food for each and every dog we serve. We start by asking people a few simple questions about their dog. Then we use that information to create their dog’s unique Tails.com recipe – so their dog gets exactly the nutrition they need, in the taste they love, delivered to their door every month. It’s clever stuff.
We’ve got bold plans. Having created an entirely new category in pet food, we’re now scaling fast – backed by Purina, one of the world’s largest pet food companies. You’ll join a bunch of smart people working towards the same goals – and a bunch of smart-ish dogs, all working on their own thing.

The role
After a concept and business case are approved, this role focuses on converting innovation ideas into practical, executable plans and driving cross-functional delivery through to launch.
The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for translating approved innovation concepts into executable plans and driving cross-functional delivery through to launch. (This role works closely with the Range Innovation Manager, who acts as the "prime mover" and is responsible for ideation, range strategy, business case development, and who has overall project responsibility.).
Once initiatives have been defined and approved this role ensures that approved innovations are delivered to market efficiently, on time, within budget, and to required quality and compliance standards.
Accountable for timelines, cost control, risk management, and cross-functional delivery.

You will be responsible for:
- Project Planning & Execution
- Packaging development and artwork finalisation (liaise closely with food team)
- Supplier onboarding and material availability (work closely with procurement and QA teams)
- Product trials and scale up (collaboration with suppliers)
- Regulatory compliance and risk management (work closely with Regulatory and Compliance Manager)
- Production planning
- Go-to-market activity plans are created and synchronised.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Food Science, or related discipline.
- 3–7 years’ experience delivering NPD or change projects in FMCG or consumer goods.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.
- Strong project management experience.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional delivery teams.
- Solid understanding of FMCG type operations, including manufacturing, supply chain, and packaging.
