This Position reports to:

Sales, Service and Project Execution Lea

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects.

Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.

The work model for the role is: remote.

Main stakeholders are: internal project coordination teams, subcontractors, suppliers, service engineers, customers, and QHSE leads.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Performing site visits to validate the commercial offer and coordinating installation works for LV Switchgear, UPS, EM Lighting UPS within the HS2 Frame Agreement scope.

Preparing and managing the full project program of works, including cost tracking, subcontractor management, and risk assessment documentation.

Liaising with sales, manufacturing, and procurement to ensure delivery schedules and commercial targets are met.

Acting as the key interface for all technical, planning, and delivery questions, coordinating internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth project execution.

Ensuring site preparation and delivery timelines are aligned, and that subcontractors operate to ABB’s safety and quality standards.

Supporting documentation processes, including generating electronic O&M manuals and organizing technical drawings.

Driving margin control, minimizing non-billable costs, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling related ABB products (e.g. switchgear, generators).

Qualifications for the role:

You are highly skilled in project coordination and field execution within the UPS systems or broader electrical power infrastructure industry.
You have 2+ years of experience managing projects involving UPS systems, preferably within large infrastructure or data centre environments.

You are adept in using project management tools and ideally possess familiarity with CAD and Microsoft Project applications.

You are passionate about organization, cost control, and stakeholder coordination, with a strong safety-first mindset.

Proven experience in technical documentation, contractor liaison, and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Degree or vocational training in Engineering, Electrical Systems, or a related technical field is preferred.

You are at ease communicating in English in both written and spoken form.

You hold a valid UK work permit and are open to regular business travel.
