The Role

The Role
At BMG Research, part of the wider RSK Group our Project Managers are the engine that keeps our work running seamlessly. In this role you will manage end‑to‑end delivery, build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, and help ensure every project lands on time, on budget, and with outstanding quality.
As our Project Manager you will have the opportunity to take the lead on small-to-medium research projects and support wider business growth:
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver projects with confidence:
- Set up new projects, create clear project plans, schedules, risk registers, and budgets.
- Manage timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure every project meets scope and specification.
- Oversee fieldwork, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
- Uphold high project quality and data protection standards from start to finish.
- Monitor progress, solve problems proactively, and keep everything on track.
- Ensure all deliverables are completed, documented, and archived correctly.
- Lead client conversations on project scope, timelines, and progress and handle any issues smoothly.
- Make sure clients feel supported, informed, and confident throughout delivery.
- Cost up small proposals or sections of larger bids as part of business development.
- Identify ways to improve processes and project efficiency.
Key Skills & Experience
- 3–4+ years’ experience in project management or market/social research with a project management focus.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple moving parts at pace.
- Strong communication skills—you’re comfortable leading conversations with clients and colleagues.
- A sharp eye for detail and confidence in maintaining accurate plans, budgets, and documentation.
- Familiarity with project management tools and Microsoft Office.
- Commercial awareness—able to think about cost, scope, value, and profitability.
- A proactive, solutions‑first mindset and a desire to keep improving how things are done.
