A leading RC frame and groundwork contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of a £18m residential scheme in St John’s Wood, London. This role will suit a Project Manager currently working with a concrete frame contractor who is looking to take ownership of a technically complex project from early stages through to completion.
Project Overview
- £18m RC frame and groundworks package
- Civils, excavations, drainage, piling, basement construction and superstructure
- Secant and bearing piling works
- Steelwork wrap around an existing UKPN substation
- Double deep basement construction
- Two residential blocks reaching 10 storeys
- Jump cores and post-tensioned (PT) slabs
- Two tower cranes on site
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for project delivery from pre-construction through to completion
- Managing site teams including engineers, foremen and subcontractors
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering RC frame and groundworks projects in the UK
- Currently working for an RC frame contractor
- Strong knowledge of piling, basements, and reinforced concrete structures
- Experience managing complex urban sites
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
