Job Overview

Location: Forthview House & Scotland Region


Looking for an exciting role in project management? We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead construction projects efficiently and cost-effectively. You'll oversee project delivery, ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing specialist designers and contractors, and taking ownership of health and safety. You'll also be responsible for monitoring project progress, managing change, and maintaining financial control. This role is based at Forthview House Dunfermline with travel across the South Scotland . Security clearance (SC) will be required.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope with stakeholders and ensure timely, on-budget delivery.
  • Manage resources, risks, and relationships with contractors and clients.
  • Maintain compliance with CDM regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee project finances, working closely with the internal Commercial team.
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, ensuring quality and regulatory standards are met.
  • Monitor progress, manage changes, and resolve cross-functional issues.
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders.
  • What We're Looking For:

    • Construction project management experience – full lifecycle management of multiple projects.
    • Proactive & organised – able to plan ahead, solve problems, and drive projects forward.
    • Strong leadership & communication skills – working with diverse teams and clients.
    • Financial awareness – understanding project budgets and P&L.
    • Technical proficiency – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project management software (Microsoft Project preferred).
    • Knowledge of NEC contracts and familiarity with legislation, regulations, and standards.
    • Experience in a construction-related industry (5+ years essential).
