Project Manager

What’s The Opportunity

Due to our continuing success of our existing Project Management team and our continuing expansion; we are now on the lookout for a passionate and driven individual who is looking to develop their career within a commercial project management environment. If you are seeking to progress your Project Management career this is an exciting opportunity to join a busy and dynamic team.

What you need to do to be effective in this role

• Managing the day-to-day delivery of projects
• Building relationships with clients
• Development of project documentation and reporting
• Attend, chair and record meetings as appropriate
• Produce reports to suit relevant stages of the projects
  
  

In addition to the above you will also be responsible for the following key activities:

• Identifying and developing innovative solutions for clients
• Assisting with leading and managing multidisciplinary design teams
• Assisting with conducting feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation, etc
• Monitoring and reporting on contractor’s progress on site

Supporting the team in developing new business opportunities

Supporting the team managing existing client relationships

Developing skills that will enable you to provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with clients

The skills and experience you need to have for this role

• Construction project management experience is essential
• Experience using Microsoft Office software and Microsoft Project
• Degree in a construction related subject is desirable, but not essential. All degree backgrounds will be considered
• Experience of delivering presentations
• Excellent communication skills to have gravitas with senior professionals
• Experience in report writing
  
  

We are looking for a team worker, who is outgoing, proactive, and personable. You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to learn whilst demonstrating commercial awareness and exhibiting the ability to complete projects to agreed timelines.

Qualifications

• Diploma/BSc/MSc in project management
• You will ideally be working (or considering to work) towards achieving one of the qualifications below):
• MRICS
• MCIOB
• MAPM
• PRINCE2
