Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join us in a high impact portfolio of work delivering business critical projects underpinning the platforms, services and environments used every day by Engineering teams. The successful candidate will lead medium to large-scale infrastructure and engineering platform projects from initiation through to closure where the work is high profile, technically demanding and fast paced but also playing a key role in enabling engineering productivity at scale.

This role spans multiple delivery models — traditional waterfall for structured infrastructure deployments, agile for iterative platform capabilities, and DevOps-aligned delivery where continuous improvement and automation are core.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project lifecycle delivery including defining clear project scope, goals and outcomes aligned to engineering priorities and EIT strategy and project closure documenting lessons learned aiding continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain robust project plans and resource models driving delivery across cloud, on-prem infrastructure and automation initiatives.
  • Lead multi-functional technical teams including infrastructure, platform, security and engineering
  • Risk, issue and dependency tracking with clear mitigation strategies to avoid delays and setbacks in project delivery.
  • Maintain project documentation including definition documents, status reports and plans.

  • Required Skills And Experience

    • Demonstrated experience delivering complex multi-stream projects and programmes.
    • Experience delivering across Cloud platforms (public and/or hybrid), on-prem infrastructure (compute, storage, network) and Automation and DevOps initiatives.
    • Experience working in both waterfall and agile environments, with practical application of both.
    • Experience leading globally distributed teams delivering to technical engineering customers.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-demand portfolio without compromising control.
    • Delivery and outcome-focused.

“Nice To Have” Skills And Experience

    • Strong customer management and ability to engage effectively across technical and senior leadership with the confidence to hold people to commitments!
    • Organised and structured, with the ability to run multiple concurrent workstreams!
