Project Surveyor - Stock Condition & Planned Investment
Location: East London
Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Goodman Masson is proud to be partnering with B&D Reside, a progressive and growing Housing Association based in East London, to recruit a Project Surveyor to support the delivery of their stock condition programme and planned investment strategy.

This is an excellent opportunity for a surveyor who is passionate about asset management, data-led investment planning, and improving housing quality for residents.


The Role

As Project Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring B&D Reside's housing portfolio is well maintained and future-proofed. You will be responsible for stock condition surveys, analysing asset data, and supporting the development of long-term planned maintenance programmes.

Working closely with the Asset Management and Property teams, you will help shape investment decisions that ensure homes remain safe, compliant, and of high quality for residents.


Key Responsibilities


  • Carry out stock condition surveys

across residential properties.


  • Assess building elements and identify future maintenance and lifecycle replacement needs.


  • Support the development of planned investment programmes including major works and component replacement.


  • Analyse survey data and contribute to asset management strategies and investment planning.


  • Work collaboratively with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure works are delivered to a high standard.


  • Monitor works on site and ensure quality, compliance, and value for money.


  • Maintain accurate asset data and reporting to support strategic decision making.



  • About You

    We are keen to speak with candidates who have:



    • Experience working in social housing, local authority, or residential asset management.


    • Strong knowledge of stock condition surveying and planned maintenance programmes.


    • Understanding of housing asset management principles and lifecycle planning

    .


  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


  • A relevant qualification in Building Surveying or Construction (or equivalent experience).


  • Progress towards RICS / CIOB chartership is desirable but not essential.
