Project Surveyor

We are currently working in partnership with a new build residential developer based in Southampton, who are recruiting for a Project Surveyor on a permanent contract. The position is due to start on notice. The annual salary is circa £58,000 plus a £6,500 car allowance.

The ideal candidate will experience performing cost management duties for home builders.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate cost management on numerous residential home building development sites; apartment blocks & standard homes
• Dealing with contractual issues, procurement and payment of sub-contractors for complex large volume development projects from pre-operational stage through to final account settlement
• Simultaneously managing projects at different stages of value engineering, cost control, budgeting and forecasting

• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday – Friday
• 8:30am-5pm
