Hours: 28.13hrs. One week of 33.75hrs and one week on 22.5hrs.

Are you a motivated and enthusiastic Registered Nurse, keen to develop new skills and looking for a new challenge? Then we would like to hear from you!

We are recruiting for band 5 staff nurses to a busy 30 bedded ward. On ward 5 we have Gyaecological patients, Orthopaedic rehab patients and patients under General Surgery.

The workload and patient groups are diverse and will provide opportunities to develop knowledge through on and off ward education. Full support is given with professional development and Dr Grays has an on-site Practice Education Team to support staff. We endeavour to provide a supportive learning environment with ongoing teaching opportunities for all staff.

You will have the opportunity to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, who are all committed to delivering high quality, safe, person centered care.

As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
