Description

We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Purchase Ledger Clerk.


This is initially a 6-month contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right individual.


In this role, you will support three legal entities within the Megger Group, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments across our Dover operations. As part of our Finance Team, you will play a key role in maintaining the accounts payable ledger, supporting internal stakeholders and external vendors, and ensuring financial controls are upheld to a high standard.


Key Responsibilities


  • Process purchase ledger invoices accurately and efficiently.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and assist with payment runs and maintain supplier accounts.
  • Post vendor payments and allocate them correctly within the system.
  • Support banking activities including cash allocations, credit card returns and expense processing.
  • Reconcile Goods In and Goods Receipt accounts.
  • Undertake ad hoc finance duties as required.

  • Experience, Skills & Qualifications


    • Previous experience in an accounts payable or high-volume processing environment.
    • Intermediate Excel skills.
    • SAP experience (desirable but not essential).
    • Understanding of accounting principles and VAT.
    • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a collaborative team player.
