Role Overview
Performs detailed field inspections of piping systems to verify installation quality and compliance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct line walk-downs against P&IDs and isometrics.
- Verify materials, tag numbers, and installation standards.
- Prepare punch lists and monitor corrective actions.
- Support hydrotesting and pre-commissioning inspections.
- Confirm proper installation of supports and spring hangers.
- Check flange alignment, bolt torque, and gasket installation.
- Verify welding identification and traceability.
- Ensure compliance with approved ITP hold and witness points.
- Coordinate with supervisors to resolve quality issues.
- Document inspections with photographic evidence and reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical qualification in Mechanical discipline.
- 3+ years’ piping QA/QC experience.
- Familiarity with ITPs and inspection documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
