Quality Assurance Team
Working within the team, you will need a good working knowledge of the Local Government Pension Scheme and the ability to be able to assimilate changing regulations and technical questions. As a Senior Pensions Officer of a small team, you must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to assist with the team workload which is often technical in nature.

Quality Assurance Team

As a Senior Pensions Officer of a small team, you must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to assist with the team workload which is often technical in nature.
Responsibilities
You must be able to manage your own workload whilst contributing to the various regulatory projects the team deliver each year. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Help deliver the annual regulatory projects like the Annual Pension Statements and Annual Allowance, which involves data scrutinization and testing, running calculations and producing accurate statements.
- Deal with technical queries from the wider administration teams, helping resolve complex issues and provide guidance on calculations and procedures.
- Assist with updates to regulations in terms of implementing changes to procedures, letters, and forms for the operational teams.
- Assist with testing for the administration platform software releases that affect calculations and documentation.
- Flexible working, working at least two days a week in the Civic Centre in Keynsham.
- IT equipment for home working, including a laptop
- 26 days annual leave, rising to 31 days after 5 years’ service, pro-rata for part-time workers
- Access to a flexible working scheme allowing up to an additional 1.5 days leave every four weeks
