Essential responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of UK CAA/EASA & FAA Part 145 and other applicable CAA requirements affecting maintenance, repair, and overhaul activities.
- All Regulatory, Customer and Supplier audit requirements are satisfied.
- Ability to work within and support a documented Management System (QMS & SMS).
- Must perform work in compliance with written operating and functional procedures or defined processes authorized for the role.
- Ability to support regulatory agency and customer audits and participate in assessments of MRO facilities for compliance with local and GE Aerospace quality system requirements.
- Perform internal audits locally and at remote locations.
- Conduct Quality and Human Factor training for all staff.
- Ability to contribute to continual improvement, use assessment results and data analysis, and run/support corrective action activity
- Ability to communicate quality issues and ensure the importance of meeting customer and regulatory requirements is understood
- Understanding of product audits/configuration audits as independent verification that process controls and product acceptance plans are effective
- Drive quality excellence, regulatory compliance, and a strong safety and quality culture across the site
- Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical degree.
- Experience working with UK CAA / EASA & FAA 145 procedures.
- Analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker.
- Knowledge of Human Factors, Electrical Wiring Interconnection Systems (EWIS), and Critical Maintenance Tasks.
- Focus on developing, implementing, and maintaining robust processes that comply with quality standards
