Our Barnstaple facility is located in North Devon. Founded in 1948, the site now employs approximately 160 employees and features the Aero Stanrew brand of electromagnetic components, printed-circuit board assemblies, cabinet wiring and electronic test equipment for safety critical applications in aerospace and defence, industrial and transportation industries.

Role Overview And Responsibilities

Be able to influence key stakeholders and cross functional teams to achieve key business objectives and deliver process improvement.

Able to create and work to KPI’s in a performance driven business environment.

Good time and priority management.

Ability to facilitate and lead where appropriate effective RCCA problem solving events with a cross functional team.

Work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines.

Able to and confident in presenting to the wider organisation.

Ability to think and act strategically across all the support areas

A bias towards action - a completer finisher

A high standard of Maths and English.

A sound experience base in problem solving – method specific

Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualified (AS9100)

Relevant training in AS9100 and ISO.

Experience of Customer FAIR to AS9102.

A formal qualification in Quality / electronic / mechanical engineering.

PPAP / Lean Manufacturing/ CI qualification and or relevant experience in application of lean tools and creations of improvement plans.

Strong presentation skills.
