Location: London, UK - Hybrid: 2-3 Days to Office Every Week

Roles & responsibilities:
We are seeking a Quality Engineer (Performance & Resilience) to support a mission-critical UK government customs platform handling high-volume import/export declarations. The role focuses on performance testing, system resilience, and scalability within a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute performance, load, stress, and resilience testing
- Validate system scalability for high-volume transaction processing
- Develop and maintain automated performance test scenarios
- Analyse performance metrics and identify bottlenecks
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and DevOps teams
- Document test outcomes, risks, and recommendations
Required Skills
- Performance Testing (enterprise-scale systems)
- Cucumber
- Java
- JIRA & Confluence
- Experience testing high-throughput / high-availability platforms
- Eligible to work in the UK with 5+ years residency
