Python Quant Developer (London)

As a Python Quant Developer, you will work closely with quantitative researchers to develop the high-performance tools and frameworks that power the firm's trading strategies. Each team has the autonomy to set its own research direction, fostering an environment of innovation and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with quant researchers to rapidly iterate on trading models
- Develop robust, high-performance Python libraries for research
- Enhance backtesting frameworks to push the boundaries of low-latency trading
- Build scalable workflow engines to orchestrate global research pipelines
Required Skills and Experience:
- Deep expertise in Python and its scientific stack (NumPy, Pandas, Polars)
- Proven track record of developing production-quality code in fast-paced environments
- Strong computer science fundamentals and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Passion for writing clean, elegant, and well-architected code
Familiarity with C++, Bash scripting, or prior experience in financial markets is a plus but not required.
