Quantity Surveyor

We are currently working in partnership with a leading housing solutions provider, who is recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor on a permanent contract.

This is a full-time role with a salary of £55,000-£65,000 total package.

The role's location is split between Dartford and Brighton, with travel required to both sites.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Comprehensive management of contracts, including cost control, budget analysis, and quantity surveying
• Overseeing the production of budgets, valuations, and final accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing
• Managing subcontractors from order placement to payment certification, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with financial controls
• Monitoring key performance indicators and maintaining professional communication with stakeholders
• Upholding high standards of H&S and company policies
• Flexibility to cover absences and attend meetings and training sessions as needed

Experience required:

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor
• Qualification in HNC or equivalent

Skills, knowledge and expertise required:

• Construction knowledge
• UK full driving license
• Knowledge of the National Housing Federation
• Contract knowledge (NEC, JCT etc)

Working hours:
