Key Responsibilities

Under minimum supervision, applies functional specifications and uses engineering tools to design

hardware, electronic circuits, control systems or algorithms for new development and existing

products.

• Uses software tools or applications to analyse and conduct tests on electronics circuits or systems and
  
  

document performance in comparison with design criteria.

• Identifies the testing requirement at a component, integration and system level with the emphasis on
  
  

complying with test standards and Halliburton’s Health, Safety, and Environment procedures.

• Generate test procedures, conduct test and generate reports.

Performs both engineering calculations and various statistical analysis as required.

Develop and documents process flows, tooling, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, procedures, etc. using

appropriate engineering tools.

• Support technology transfer, product support for manufacturing and operations
• Interacts with suppliers to evaluate technical capabilities, to develop processes to ensure adherence
  
  

to Halliburton’s quality requirements and to help investigate any technical quality issues.

• Product Line governance and continuous improvement
• Support the Engineering Change process.
• Promotes and contributes to a cohesive team environment and maintains open lines of
  
  

communication with all levels of the organization

Work Experience

Analog and Digital electronics circuit design

• Evaluation and Testing of electronic systems at all stages of development
• Troubleshooting and diagnosis of prototype and Production Tools
• Engineering design calculations and analysis
• PCB schematics and layout design using Altium software or similar
• High Temperature and rugged electronics designs
• PC Software and Embedded firmware / microcontroller programming using C programming
• Experience with Halliburton processes and systems is preferred.
  
  

Benefits

Skills acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or similar

discipline and 5 years of related experience. Completion of a master’s in electrical engineering or

similar discipline is preferred.
