Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Radiographers with good organisational skills to join our Diagnostic Imaging Team at the University Hospital of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB).

Your base would be Queens Hospital Burton which encompasses our main site, Queens Hospital Burton, and Community Hospitals; Samuel Johnson Hospital, Lichfield and Sir Robert Peel, Tamworth. Burton on Trent is positioned in the central part of the country just on the edge of the Peak District and within easy driving distance of Birmingham and Derby.

We are a busy Radiology Department carrying out a wide range of general and specialist examinations, including, Plain film, CT, MRI, US, DXA & Interventional/Fluoroscopy, both within an Emergency and Elective setting. Additionally Plain Film and Ultrasound at our CDC Community Hospitals.

Our department is a friendly and welcoming department using DR technology. We have a Quality Assurance programme in place and are fully QSI accredited. We have a small team leading on Paediatric and Forensic Imaging and one of the most experienced reporting radiographer teams in the UK.

As a progressive teaching department for Radiographers, we have established links to universities and actively encourage CPD role extension and advanced practice. Support is available to pursue academic courses and develop your career within a supportive and friendly environment. Radiographers are entitled to 4 hours CPD time per month.
