We are seeking a motivated and highly organised Radiology Quality & Governance Administrator to join our Radiology Quality & Governance team at Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

This is a key role supporting the delivery of safe, effective and high-quality Radiology services across the Trust. The post holder will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to Radiology Quality & Governance activity, working closely with clinical and managerial colleagues across all imaging modalities.

What We're Looking For

Significant administrative experience in a busy office environment

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail

Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team

A professional, discreet and proactive approach

Experience of working with governance, audit or compliance processes is desirable

NHS or healthcare experience is desirable but not essential

Ability to work cross site

Job description

Brief overview (further detail described in attached JD)

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Radiology Quality & Governance team, ensuring governance processes are coordinated, structured, documented and maintained to a high standard.

Act as a central administrative point for Radiology governance activity, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, up to date and appropriately stored.

Support the development, maintenance and assurance of Radiology governance frameworks in line with Trust policies and national requirements.

Maintain oversight of governance documentation to support internal assurance, external inspection and regulatory compliance activity.

Qualifications

Essential

  • GCSEs (grade A-C or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development

Desirable

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)

Knowledge

Essential

  • Sound understanding of administrative processes and procedures within a healthcare or large organisation
  • Knowledge of quality, governance or assurance processes
  • Ability to manage, organise and maintain detailed records and documentation
  • Strong written communication skills, including report preparation and formal correspondence
  • Good IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and electronic filing systems
  • Ability to extract, collate and present data clearly and accurately

Desirable

  • Knowledge of SharePoint or similar document management systems
  • Knowledge of NHS governance, audit or regulatory frameworks

Experience

Essential

  • Significant administrative experience in a busy office environment
  • Experience of supporting quality, governance, audit or compliance activity
  • Experience of maintaining action logs, registers or databases
  • Experience of working with confidential and sensitive information

Desirable

  • Experience working within an NHS or healthcare setting
