Are you a hands-on Site Supervisor or Site Manager who takes ownership of safety, standards, and delivery on live rail infrastructure?
At Ground Control, we’re looking for a strong operational leader to take full control of vegetation management sites across the Network Rail infrastructure. This role is about being present, leading from the front, and ensuring every site is safe, compliant, and delivered on programme.

You will take full responsibility for day-to-day site supervision, ensuring works are set up correctly, teams are briefed properly, and activities are delivered safely and on schedule.
You Will Be The Person Who

You Will Be The Person Who
- Ensures every site is safe to work on before works commence
- Leads daily briefings and task-based risk assessments
- Oversees vegetation clearance operations on live rail infrastructure
- Monitors productivity and drives delivery in line with programme
- Maintains high standards of safety, quality, and environmental compliance
Essential
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience supervising works within the rail industry
- Strong working knowledge of Network Rail standards and processes
- PTS certification
- Experience leading site teams in high-risk environments
- Confident delivering site briefings and implementing RAMS
- Strong understanding of HSE and CDM regulations
- Ability to manage programme delivery and drive productivity on site
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- COSS certification
- SMSTS or equivalent
