Registered Mental Health Nurse

Location: Paisley Lodge Care Home - Hopton Mews, Armley, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS12 3UA

Salary: £24.82 per hour

Hours: 22 hours per week, Days

If you're passionate about delivering exceptional person led care, and making a difference to the lives of the people you support, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead a dedicated clinical team and make a real impact in the lives of residents with complex and enduring mental health needs.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing person-centred care plans and risk assessments
  • Leading the care team in delivering meaningful, empathetic support
  • Promoting independence, choice, and positive engagement
  • Liaising with families, external professionals, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Supporting best interest decisions in line with the Mental Capacity Act
  • Conducting supervisions, appraisals, and coaching care staff
  • Ensuring compliance with NMC standards and Orchard policies

  • We’re Seeking Someone Who Is

    • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration
    • Experienced in mental health care and person-centred planning
    • Strong knowledge of the Mental Health Act, MCA, DoLS, and safeguarding legislation.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • A warm, empathetic, and professional approach
    • Ability to coach and develop colleagues
